Come join us at an event that will be fun for both you and your dog! Trails for Tails includes a 10K run, 5K run, and a one mile walk along the scenic riverfront and Katy Trail. There will be pet contests, a raffle, and many exhibitors. Proceeds benefit Five Acres Animal Shelter, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in St. Charles. Our mission is to end pet homelessness, promote responsible pet ownership and advocate for animal welfare.

The start and finish of the 10K, 5K and 1 Mile walk are near the Jaycee Stage in Frontier Park. The 10K and 5K courses travels through Frontier Park and along the flat and shady Katy Trail.
Bring Your Dog
Dogs are welcome on the 5K trail and the 1 Mile Walk. Rules for dogs are as follows:
- Must be up to date on vaccinations and in good health
- You must pick up and dispose of waste
- No retractable leashes

Packet pick-up will be available on...
- Saturday, September 12th from 10am-5pm at FLEET FEET - St. Charles
- Sunday, September 13th, race morning, before the beginning of the race at Frontier Park.

Pet contest awards include best costume, best kisser, Race the Wind (radar timed short-distance race), and more!
